I drink a lot of coffee (black no sugar), so much so that no matter what I'm doing I usually have a cup on hand. However, this isn't a blog just about coffee -- it's about anything I find interesting!
One of the advantages of not living in the centre of a large city is relatively clean air, which gives rise to some fantastic sunrises and sunsets. This was the view from my bedroom window early on Thursday morning.
You will be aware of the quote from Crocodile Dundee "Now that's a knife". I can't help thinking how lucky I am. Some of the sunrises from the last few weeks looking out from my study can be found on one of my Web Albums http://picasaweb.google.com/geeb.ed/HebrideanSunrises Note there are no television aerials - mind you there is a rather larger man-made obstruction in one or two!
Well they are definately better sunrises than mine, I especially like the one with the birds flying towards the camera.
I'm lucky in that I at least get to see nice sunrises, but from experiance I've found that the further north I am the better the sunrise/sunset so I think you have an unfair advantage there!
Sadly we have no East or West facing windows and the garden is so hemmed in we never see a sunrise or sunset. I really miss them.
