Mark, this is my final guess.
It's a flour sifter to give your sister in law eight colours to play with. I think it is a machine for taking out the negative bits in flour.
I really can't guess again so tell me.
By the way Mark many thanks for Postvorta and it's ability to search posts for all the little bits of things you have supplied that make blogging more pleasurable and my blog look it's old boring self on a new machine.
